After a stressful day dealing with a difficult customer and an evening spoiled by her thoughtless boyfriend, Yumi stumbles upon a bar named Snack Kizutsuki. The small bar is run by Ms. Toko who doesn't serve alcoholic drinks but offers home cooked meals and a place for her customers to unburden their hearts.

After a late night visit to a convenience store he discovers Snack Kizutsuki where Toko lifts his spirits with coffee and song.

Jun Takii is a graphic designer at a salesman at an advertising a promotions agency. He acts distantly towards his co-workers and girlfriend. An unexpected mishap on his part causes him to go to Snack Kizutsuki, and once there Ms. Toko helps Takii to unburden himself which reveals the cause of his inner pain.
