The family's experience begins with a grand opening designed to compete against the onslaught of the supermarkets. While Sam dons his chicken costume to drum up trade for the shop's 'cheap cheap' prices, the Lord Mayor of Sheffield cuts the ribbon to open the doors. But as a newly self-service operation, Dave must completely transform his approach to keep the tills ringing.
