Each episode is based on a certain roller coaster category and features four coasters. Before the episode, Travel Channel announced the four roller coasters and allowed voters to decide which one is the best. At the end, the ride with the most votes would be the winner.

The battle rolls to Australia for a coaster that plummets riders down a 130-foot hill, then to Italy for a coaster that rockets riders from 0 to 70 mph in 2.2 seconds, and finally to the US for the world’s first 4th dimension coaster.

Episode 7 - World's First Hypercoaster

Insane Coaster Wars travels to Italy where riders are launched up a 147-foot-high loop, then it’s on to Canada for a 540-degree helix, and finally to the US for the world’s first hypercoaster, lifting riders over 200 feet into the air.

Episode 8 - Italian Katun Coaster

Dangling coaster Katun drops and rolls passengers in the Italian skies.
