So when the girlfriend of Mick's long-time student, Will of Stone, tracks him down seeking help in finding Will for a serious problem, Mick doesn't hesitate to lend a hand. Will of Stone has been on a rite of passage in the forest for 2 weeks already, so this manhunt will prove no easy feat.

Based on a secret recipe created by Mick's great grandfather, it's a special concoction his family has produced for generations. As soon as Mick sees the very first berries on the vine, he springs into action, gathering ingredients spread all over the forest.

Since Mick Dodge left the modern world behind, he's stashed his belongings all over the Washington wilderness. Now, Mick is relocating hidden stashes to a central forest base camp in preparation for winter. However, things don't go according to plan when Mick discovers some of his stashes have gone missing. Confident it's no coincidence, Mick will stop at nothing to find the culprit responsible.

Bringing his fellow forest dwellers together for a feast, Mick takes this opportunity to celebrate brotherhood and the abundance the forest provides. But first, Mick and his friends must utilize their primal skills and resources, in hopes of hunting and gathering enough food from the Hoh for this season's main event.

Over the course of his decades spent in the wild, Mick Dodge has discovered unusual remedies in the least likely of places- the kind of tricks that can heal him and alleviate pain in times of need. But when none of his natural methods are able to diminish the crippling pain of a toothache for long, Mick decides it's time for drastic measures and seeks help from a source he hasn't tapped into in decades.

Following in the tradition of early tribal games and the Greek Olympiad, Mick and his friends of the forest compete in their annual Olympic Mountain Games. With each member carefully selected for their specialized skills, the teams undertake three separate challenges that will push them to their limits, testing their strength, agility and teamwork. Going head-to-head, one team will fight their way to the top and reign as this year's champion.
