Quest for the Lost Vikings is a documentary travel series about real life explorers on a mission to explore the truth about their Viking heritage. David Collette, Johann Sigurdson, and Mackenzie Collette are Fellows of the world-famous Explorers Club and The Royal Canadian Geographical Society, and they grew up listening to stories about Vikings descending from Hudson's Bay to explore the New World. Now, they are using their experience in an attempt uncover Viking exploration of the Americas.

As planning for a northern expedition continues, the Farm Heim team starts testing the gear they will use in their bigger quest. Jo, Johann and David set out for Berens River, a place with potential clues of lost vikings that sits on the eastern shore of Lake Winnipeg.

The expedition takes the Fara Heim team near Bloodvein, Manitoba where a large boulder may hold a great mysteries of a lost Viking expedition. Meanwhile, Joe tries his hand at metal detecting near a historic fur trading fort, uncovering items - including an old coin - that may have repercussions to the local history.

Wild fires ravage much of Canada's North, throwing a wrench into the crew's expedition plans. With a lack of planes, helicopters, and supplies the group must find ways to overcome these issues. Meanwhile, Johann makes a trip for special equipment.

The final expedition begins as the Fara Heim crew continue the search for physical proof of the lost Viking quest from more than 500 year ago. A trapper's letter and map from 1929 might hold the key to what happened to the Viking travelers.

One last push for signs of the lost Vikings as the Fara Heim crew embarks on their most ambitious mission yet. With Mack's departure, the remaining members of the team come across a site that is unquestionably human made. But is this the site they are looking for?
