Toledo, Spain, 1997. The residents of Río Blanco have accepted the settlement of Moroccan seasonal workers in Fuensanta. Coexistence brings tensions, known by Sonia, an NGO leader; Father Ángel, the local priest; and Safir, the imam. Radi, a Muslim boy, begins to show strange behavior after going into the ruins of the village church's basement. Safir, the religious leader of the Maghrebi community, believes it's due to the presence of a jinn, a Muslim demon.
