Australian host Steve Irwin and his wife Terri run a wildlife refuge. Their shared passion is educating the world about wildlife, including the much feared crocodile and numerous venomous snakes. Steve's specialty is the capture and relocation of crocodiles. No animal appears too threatening to Steve, his true respect for animals is the foundation for everything he does.

Eleven crocodiles must be relocated at the zoo, so Steve develops a new method to capture them. Also: an extremely ornery white crocodile named Casper is introduced at the zoo and proves to be aggressive towards a female.

Episode 3 - Whale Sharks of the Wild West (Part 1)

Steve enters the water to look at dolphins, seals and sharks. He also takes time to look at the wreck of the Batavia and see tammar wallabies and pythons.
