After his first year of film school, Joshua was cast to play a major role in a feature film. Only a year later, he was cast to play the lead role of Usnavi in a community theatre production of Lin-Manuel Miranda's In the Heights. Joshua's always loved imagining vast worlds and wacky characters, but for him, the best part about acting is that it allows a person to tap into their inner child, to attain a purer understanding of the world and its inhabitants, by playing pretend.
