In 2017, after graduating from high school, she was admitted to the Performance Department of Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts from which she graduated. She made her drama debut in "Crossroad Bistro". In 2022, in accordance with her company, she also opened her own studio called Zhang Miao Yi Personal Studio (张淼怡个人工作室).
