Pramod won the State Government Award for Best Comedian in 2007 for his performance in Aniyara's drama Rastriya Paatava. In 2009, Pramod got the state award again for Pala Communication's Kadulam Kanivenna drama. Pramod and his team are popular on the internet through the first web series in Kerala. The Navani series directed by Abhilash Sreedharan managed to grab a lot of attention. Then acted in about 45 short films. Acting in short films and web series paved the way for cinema. The short film Arpo has also won the National Award for Best Actor.
