She loves horses and was a member of her university's Equestrian Club, where she participated in tournaments before she entered Keyakizaka46. Yuuka is now the special ambassador of Japan Equestrian Federation, and has been for 3 years straight. She's also known to have a bad enunciation and cannot say certain words properly, like "fondue" and "captain". A self-proclaimed "do-M" (masochist), the members often love teasing Yuuka. Her catchphrase "Ganbariki," which comes from "Ganbare" (doing one's best) and "Bariki" (horsepower), is popular among members and fans. Yuuka calls her fans "barizu."
