Over the years, he became one of the leading stars of Odia cinema with successful films like Bou Buttu Bhuta, Pabar, and the critically acclaimed Daman, where his performance as a doctor was widely appreciated. Apart from acting, Babushaan is also an accomplished playback singer, contributing songs to many of his films. In 2017, he expanded into filmmaking by launching his production house, Babushaan Films.
