Arnold Sikkel started his stage activities in the choir and dance group of the "Võitleja" company in Narva, and was an inspector and actor of the Narva Theater in 1937-1939. Between 1939 and 1942 he was an actor of the Ugala Theater and between 1942 and 1974 he was an actor and director of the Pärnu Drama Theater.
