She debuted in February 2009 as KC Cassidy with Pro Wrestling Women’s Alliance and spent years on the independent scene, becoming a one-time PWA Women’s Champion and winning the Vera and Jenny Memorial Cup in support of breast cancer awareness, before signing with WWE in 2015, beginning her run in NXT, and later being released from her contract in 2021.
