He is also the first of two wrestlers, alongside Minoru Tanaka, to win junior heavyweight championships in NOAH, New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), and All Japan Pro-Wrestling (AJPW). In 2020, he was appointed to the position of Executive Vice President of CyberFight, the parent company of NOAH.
