Rita's biggest break came in the form of "My Special Tatay" where her unexpected chemistry with co-star Ken Chan rocketed the both of them to nationwide fame. Afterwards, Rita has proceeded to breathe life into unorthodox leading lady roles like that of Jowalyn in "One Of The Baes" and Mia in "Ang Dalawang Ikaw."
