She worked in theater and cinema since the forties of the twentieth century, where she worked in the theater for the first time with the artist Naguib Al-Rihani, while in the cinema she presented films (Gram and Revenge, The Five Pounds, Samson and Pulp, Hassan, Morcos and Cohen). She married art critic Abdel Fattah Al-Baroudi, and she had declared her conversion to Islam in 1960.
