She made her film debut in Stig Olin's "Swing it, fröken" (1956) and was admitted to the Royal Dramatic Theatre's acting school in 1958. During the 60's she became one of the Swedish film's box office hit, not least as Jarl Kulle's glittering summer girl in Lars Magnus Lindgren's "Änglar finns dom?/ Love Mates" (1961) and "Käre John/ Dear John" (1964).
