He was best known for his roles as Morty Melnick in Meatballs, Sam in The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police, Sergeant Ronald Coleman in Cagney & Lacey, and for voicing King Koopa in the three Mario cartoon franchises; The Super Mario Bros.
