Wendy has performed in both Sydney and Queensland Theatre Companies respectively, many of Wendy's theatre credits include Sold, Flags, Return To Earth and many more. Wendy also received a Logie Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in A Country Practice in 1985. And she is the mother of Australian soap actress Sophie Hensser.
