He made his film debut as Galal in 1000 Mabrok, starring Ahmed Helmy. He later appeared alongside Ahmed Mekky in a commercial for a major international soft drink brand. At the time of his passing, he was preparing for a role in The Bus, a film written and directed by Mohamed Diab. Mahmoud El Fishawy passed away on January 18, 2010, at the age of 60, following a heart attack.
