She debuted in the cinema at the age of 9 in Hasta morir by her father Fernando Sariñana, then played young girl roles in telenovelas before returning to the big screen. She sings in the music group Feliz No cumpleaños ( Happy Birthday) who released the album La Familia Feliz in September 2006. Ximena sometimes participates in the soundtracks of the films in which she plays, such as Amar te duele and Amor Xtremo.
