She has appeared in other TV shows including "General Hospital," "Sliders," and "ER," and voiced characters in animated films like "Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles". Masterson is also a singer with several albums and won the Best Feature Film Producer award at the LA Femme Film Festival for the film "Yesterday Was a Lie," which she also acted in. Beyond acting, she co-founded the Pop Culture Hero Coalition to combat bullying and other social injustices, using the influence of popular culture to inspire real-life heroism. She continues her Star Trek association by reprising her role in the video game "Star Trek Online" and starring in the audio drama spin-off "Vienna"
