Moreover, Debbie was first sought after for modeling work while attending high school and has been featured in such publications as Draculina, Femme Fatale, and Outlaw Biker. In addition, Debbie has been steadily acting in films since the 90's. She has appeared every year as the Brown Haired Mermaid at the annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade in New York. Debbie is perhaps best known as her alter ego Destiny - Vampire Mermaid; this comic book character has been featured on a monthly basis in Scary Monsters magazine.
