Before receiving his MFA in acting from the USC School of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, he was in the mental health field, working on a psychiatric research grant in New Mexico. He has been acting in both Spanish & English language films since he was 18 and constantly travels between Texas, California, and New Mexico.
