Since receiving his first Citra Award in 2009, he has acted in over a dozen films, ranging from comedies and romances to dramas and biopics. He is widely recognized as one of the most talented and versatile actors in Indonesian cinema, known for his ability to embody diverse characters across various genres. Reza began his acting career in television before making his breakthrough in films. His role in Perempuan Berkalung Sorban (2009) earned him the Best Supporting Actor award at the Indonesian Film Festival. He later gained widespread acclaim for portraying Indonesia’s third president, B.J. Habibie, in Habibie & Ainun (2012), a role he reprised in Rudy Habibie (2016) and Habibie & Ainun 3 (2019). Throughout his career, Reza has starred in numerous critically acclaimed and commercially successful films, including My Stupid Boss (2016), Imperfect (2019), Surga Yang Tak Dirindukan (2015), Gadis Kretek (2023), and many more.
