She played Rovers barmaid Tina Fowler in Coronation Street from 1989-1990 and has followed this up with roles in two other major soaps, Emmerdale in 1995 and Hollyoaks from 2017-2018. Her other credits include Common as Muck (1994-1997), Goodnight Sweetheart (1993-1996), Merseybeat (2001-2003) and Above Suspicion (2009-2012). She was previously married to Mark O'Hanlon and performed in the pop group The Dunky Dobbers alongside fellow Lancashire actress Sue Devaney.
