It emphasizes that youth should be active, and has the courage to forge ahead. 70% of the characters in "Journey to the West" are based on the classic "Journey to the West", including Monkey King, Tang Seng, Bull Demon King, White Bone Spirit, Lion Camel King, Golden Horn King, and Silver Horn King. While paying tribute to the classics, it also subverts the characters and plot through a series of post-modern techniques such as funny, ghostly, irony, and deconstruction. Especially in terms of character creation, each "big devil" in the play will be closer to daily life, possessing ordinary people's emotions, having ordinary people's worries, and shouldering ordinary people's responsibilities
