Cangalovic: a Lifetime of an Artist (2024)
During his fruitful and active career, Miroslav Čangalović, star of the Golden Age of the Belgrade (and Yugoslav) Opera, performed in around 140 cities and 31 countries on all continents (except Australia). He performed over 90 roles in 68 operas, of which 20 are in operas by Serbian or Yugoslav composers. In 30 years of active work, he played 754 shows, about 500 of those were in leading roles. He was a regular guest of all other opera houses in SFRY. His Boris Godunov, Don Quixote, Prince Igor and Mephisto are remembered to this today, both in our region and worldwide.
