Two thousand years ago a High Priest, defying the orders of the King, prepares the sacrifice that will resurrect an evil goddess from the tenebrous beyond. The beheading of seven virgins will precede her resurrection, but the sacrifice is interrupted and the priest is mortally wounded. Though not dead, he is to remain sealed in his sarcophagus until the arrival one day of those destined to liberate him.Two thousand years later, a group of university students on an archeological expedition begin to mysteriously die one by one via a series of mysterious accidents.
